History

Our story began in 1989, when Claus Middelhoff and Olaf Buse came up with Joytec Amusement Design. Based in Werne, well known for its famous Sim-Jü-fair, Joytec focuses on the conceptual design of amusement rides and roller coasters. Joytec has cooperated with well known manufacturers like SDC, Jörgens, Intamin, Stein Anlagenbau (the successor of Schwarzkopf), Bonori, Hemmis, Völz and many others in the past.

Over the years Joytec went on to design various sales & gaming vehicles for travelling showmen as well as facades for dodgem pavilions and water attractions. An additional field of activity concentrated on a new concession-stand-concept for bakeries.

On the basis of more than 25 years market experience Dipl.-Ing. Claus Middelhoff started a new business named marc (middelhoff amusement ride concepts) in 2014. He now works as a freelancer.

marc serves all customers that are looking for a peculiar and unique attraction.
